The Interreg SUDOE project VINIoT celebrated its final event at FEUGA headquarters in Santiago de Compostela with an open fair for the sector during the 8th and 9th of February 2023. On the first day, the different partners of the project got together in order to discuss all of the work performed throughout the last 3 years in operation. On the other hand, the second-day VINIoT organized an open event with more than 50 attendees. The day began with a presentation of the results obtained during the project. This was followed by two round tables focused on the sustainability of the VINIoT service; one offered an approach from the wine and digitalization sector, which featured regional experts as wineries and consultants and the second focused on the point of view of the agrifood digital transfer led by European Digital Innovation HUBS (EDIHs). Jan 10, 2023 VINIoT news IVSO, toulouse, viniot, viticulture, workshop VINIoT at the 7th Conference on South-Western Wines VINIoT partners will organize a workshop titled Sensors and hyperspectral in the vineyard at the Hôtel de Région in Toulouse at 8:30 AM on the 13th of January. This workshop will take place during the 7th Conference on South-Western Wines – a great initiative created by the joint efforts of IFV Sud-Ouest and the Interprofession des Vins du Sud-Ouest (IVSO). Oct 4, 2021 VINIoT news antennas, iot, measurements, sensor, viniot Installation of IoT sensors and measurements at demofarms The VINIoT team have recently started to make measurements at demofarms to determine hydric stress, maturation and ripening of grapes. These first measurements were made in Leiro (Galicia) and Sao Joao da Pesqueira (Portugal) and will allow a better implementation and validation of VINIoT service. These sensors will allow the collection of real-time data on the precise scale (grape level, plant, plot or vineyard).
