The main goal is to present the results of the projects VINIoT (Service of precision viticulture based on the IoT sensor network for the digital transformation of SMEs in the SUDOE space) and VInCI (Vin, Innovation et Compétitivité Internationale) while highlighting the main benefits to support SMEs in the wine sector. The Interreg SUDOE project VINIoT celebrated its final event at FEUGA headquarters in Santiago de Compostela with an open fair for the sector during the 8th and 9th of February 2023. On the first day, the different partners of the project got together in order to discuss all of the work performed throughout the last 3 years in operation. On the other hand, the second-day VINIoT organized an open event with more than 50 attendees. The day began with a presentation of the results obtained during the project. This was followed by two round tables focused on the sustainability of the VINIoT service; one offered an approach from the wine and digitalization sector, which featured regional experts as wineries and consultants and the second focused on the point of view of the agrifood digital transfer led by European Digital Innovation HUBS (EDIHs). We now can confirm that we will be attending to the final event of SmartAgriHubs during the next 26th-28th September! On 27th September, starting at 10:30 in the pavilion 5, we will be talking about our achievements and all the lessons learnt during the VINIoT project -as well as with other prominent actors in the digitisation of agriculture-.
